About

Josef Ho obtained his Master of Arts degree in literary theory and criticism at Guangdong University of Foreign Studies in 2010, then began working as TV journalist and feature program director for English Channel of GZBN (Guangzhou Broadcasting Network) until 2013. Currently he is a columnist on cultural issues for various newspapers, magazines and journals, and successfully curated Polish Documentary Section for Futian International Urban Image Festival in 2016. During the event, he collaborated with Adam Mickiewicz Institute (counterpart of das Goethe Institut) to screen Krzysztof Kieslowski’s two early documentaries, “City of Lodz” as well as “Hospital” as Chinese premiere; he also hosted the Chinese premiere of Polish young director Marciej Glowinski’s “Fish R’ Us” at the Image Festival. He takes pride in his collaborations with artists, studios, bands and institutes of Eastern European countries as fine example of cultural exchanges and communications on non-governmental level.
